Chiropractic FAQs

Q: What conditions do chiropractors treat?

A: Our chiropractor may be able to help you with a wide variety of ailments. Some of the most common conditions treated in our Round Rock chiropractic office are headaches, arm pain, neck pain, mid-back pain, low back pain, leg pain, sciatica, degenerative disc disease, disc bulges, and many more musculoskeletal conditions.

Q: How much does chiropractic care cost?

A: MySpine Chiropractic Center in Round Rock, TX, believes that everyone should be able to afford chiropractic care as little or as often as they would like. In order to achieve this, we have developed an affordable pricing structure that allows everyone regardless of their budget or whether they have insurance to be able to receive care in our office. We offer a new patient special for $47 which includes a consultation, exam and an adjustment. Additional visits in our office if required beyond the initial visit are even less.

Q: What makes you different than other chiropractors?

A: MySpine Chiropractic Center believes in patient choice and quality of care. Therefore, we do not offer long-term, expensive treatment plans that you may have experienced with other chiropractic offices. This does not mean that with just one treatment in our office your pain will be completely gone and your condition will resolve. It simply means our chiropractor will make recommendations for care and will allow you to choose the frequency at which you return. In addition, Dr. Tyler Dreher likes to spend time getting to know his patients and their condition. Therefore you will not be adjusted and on your way out the door in 5 or 10 minutes in our office. Dr. Dreher takes the appropriate amount of time to maximize the effectiveness of his treatment sessions.

Q: What is a typical first visit with the chiropractor like?

A: Prior to your visit, we will either provide you with new patient paperwork to fill out or direct you to our new patient online form where you can submit your information to our office from our website. Upon arriving at our office, Dr. Dreher will take you back to the treatment room and take a thorough history to learn more about your past and present health. He will then perform a physical exam in order to determine a diagnosis and make his recommendations for treatment. After completing the exam, he will begin treating you on the first visit. Often times Dr. Dreher will utilize other tools such as electrotherapy, flexion/distraction, soft tissue work, and stretching/exercises in addition to chiropractic adjustments. Upon completing the treatment, he will make his best recommendations for care going forward, but ultimately the choice is yours.

Q: How are chiropractic adjustments performed?

A: Our chiropractor can either use his hands or an instrument to deliver a controlled, small force to restore proper range of motion to the joint. The type of adjustment depends on the patient. Majority of the time patients respond well to diversified adjustments and this is the preferred method of adjusting for Dr. Dreher. Some patients do not like the twisting and popping noise associated with diversified chiropractic adjustments, so for those patients he uses an instrument to adjust their spine.
